Beat the Writers!

Pit your wits against some of Britain’s top footballing brains by playing the Football Writers’ Association’s Beat the Writers predictions app.

The likes of Andy Dunn (Sunday Mirror), Des Kelly (Daily Mail) and Patrick Barclay (London Evening Standard) will forecast the scores of this season’s biggest matches, and you can get involved by downloading the app from the App Store.

All you have to do is select HOME WIN, AWAY WIN or DRAW for each match, hit submit and wait for the weekend’s action to take place.

Matches are split into rounds, with each round consisting of the Premier League matches played over Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

You can make your predictions at any point up to five minutes before kick-off in the first game of the round and your results will appear after the final game of the round has been played.

There are no prizes for this game – it’s all just for fun and bragging rights.
